Seahawks vs Falcons: Looking for a live stream of today’s Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks NFC Divisional Round Playoff game? Your options depend on where you live, whether you have cable, and whether you’re a Verizon Wireless customer. We have a full rundown of the options below.
It wasn’t all that obvious at the time that the Falcons facing the Seahawks in Seattle back in October would be a divisional playoff preview.
That was primarily because there wasn’t yet reason to trust another hot start by the Falcons — they had opened 5-0 the year before and didn’t even make the playoffs. This time, though, it worked out.
The Seahawks barely survived, 26-24, at CenturyLink Field, and the Falcons likely still haven’t calmed down about the flag that wasn’t thrown on Richard Sherman against Julio Jones in the final minutes, which could have led to the winning points. And as we’ve seen, both teams, which had one loss each going into that game, proved to be the real thing. Particularly the Falcons, who, despite the head-to-head loss, edged the Seahawks for the playoff bye and get the rematch in the Georgia Dome.
The Falcons also have the MVP candidate in Matt Ryan, and the fewer catastrophic injuries (no Earl Thomas for Seattle again, of course). They even have head-to-head postseason success against a Pete Carroll/Russell Wilson Seahawks team, in 2012.
